SERIAL FOREST

This series presents dead boxwood (sus) hung upside down, and frozen in cement, as if trapped in their movement for eternity like the “roots of scholars” created in imperial China. These works show us that any interruption of the network connecting plants, can be fatal to them.  , and that the repeated and frantic human intervention, in its quest for growth, irreversibly harms the environment. Gray concrete expresses, beyond the exhaustion of resources and systematic concreting, silence, the absence of sound and chemical power, and refers to a "network failure", to a purpose incompatible with a forest world. continuous, infinite and limitless.
